Here at Dive Forster at Fisherman’s Wharf we have one of the largest
and most extensive ranges of spearfishing equipment outside the Sydney metropolitan
area.
We cater for the beginner through to the serious blue water hunter and everything in between.
All the staff at dive forster are keen spearos themselves and we all use the
same gear that we sell so we know what we are talking about or pretend to anyway.
We are always trying out the latest gear so we are able to easily explain its
benefits to you. We are also happy to help you rig and set your guns up to achieve
the best results
Spearguns
Our range of spearguns is quite extensive, starting with small Sea Hornet guns
for the beginner through to the best European guns you can buy, Omer and JB
Esclapez.
These guns have advanced engineering making them World famous.
All guns feature stainless steel cassette mechanism, double safety catch, high
strength barrel, lifetime warranty on automatic cord release mechanism and modular
shaft guiding mechanism. Other features include articulated wishbones, high
visibility handgrip, 2 possible cord positions and rubbers perfectly aligned
with the shaft making them the most accurate guns available.
These guns come in a large range of sizes from 50cm kill guns through to 120
– 130cm blue water guns; there is a size to suit all needs.
Fins Masks and Snorkels
We have a large range of free diving fins, masks and snorkels to suit all needs
and budgets. Being built over the water has its advantages; customers can test
dive a pair of fins or that new mask before buying. Where else can you do this?
Accessories
We have a huge range of accessories from bulk rubber and float rope to the
smallest D shackles and floppers, everything to keep you in the water.
Travel
Every year we run two spearfishing trips to the Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. These trips are always a great success, we always bring plenty of fish home and people have a great time. The trips suit everyone from the beginner to the blue water hunter and we know the best reefs to spear at to maximise our catch. The spearfishing up there is second to none with large Coral Trout; Spangled Emperors and Pelagic species being speared everyday. More information
