Dive Forster at Fisherman’s Wharf

Dive Forster at Fisherman’s Wharf has been established and operated by the same owner for the last thirty years, and is one of the most respected and awarded Dive Centres on the east coast of Australia.

Dive Forster at Fisherman’s Wharf have a vast and intimate knowledge of cetaceans. They conduct Whale Watching tours offshore from Forster, NSW Australia, during the Humpback Whale migration season (June/July and October/November).

They are the only operators on the East Coast of Australia licensed to put people in the water to “Swim with the Dolphins”. They have a 85% to 90% success rate in having people enjoy this, “one of life’s great experiences”.

The owner and staff have been the leaders of many ocean conservation campaigns.


Tours We Have Conducted
Dive Forster at Fisherman’s Wharf has been conducting Scuba diving and adventure tours all over the planet for the last 20 years.

Vastly experienced Tour Guides, Scuba Diving Instructors and Divemasters escort all tours. Ron and David have a combined 40 years experience in the field. Experience, knowledge, Scuba diving and free-diving (snorkelling) skills that ensure that all adventurers on our tours enjoy the best possible experiences available. Ron and David are also both qualified ocean going Commercial Vessel Masters.

Dive Forster at Fisherman’s Wharf organised the first Australian groups of divers ever to visit:

• Nusa Island Retreat in Kavieng, Niugini
• The Chesterfield Reefs, uninhabited coral reefs in the Coral sea, mid-way between Australia and New Caledonia

• Yap, Micronesia
• Mauritius including Safari in Zimbabwe and white-water rafting below Victoria Falls
• Vava’u in the Kingdom of Tonga
• Tambia Village in the Solomon Islands

We have also conducted tours to:

Ron says that, all things considered, Vava’u in the Kingdom of Tonga is the best diving and adventure location in the Asia and pacific region.
