Are you new to snorkelling or would like to work on skills like duck diving, mask and snorkel clearing and staying down to look at things a little longer? Then this is the lesson for you! You’ll also learn ways to help your buddy, a few things like fish species and kelp types, and you’ll be able to work closely with your instructor to perfect your skills.

Wallis Lake
These tours really suit those who are getting used to snorkelling and getting more comfortable in the water. We time these snorkels when the tide is high in our lake system so the water is clear. One of our PADI Divemasters or PADI Snorkel Guides will accompany you and help you get the most out of your snorkelling equipment and teach you a few handy tips and tricks to make it easier!
Price: $70 per adult, $40 per child (minimum two
participants)

Shore based
This is a great option for confident snorkellers who want to explore the coast line and check out some hidden gems near Forster and south of here. Swim alongside turtles, Grey Nurse Sharks and through massive schools of fish. You’ll be accompanied by one of our professional PADI Divemasters who will help you get the most out of your ocean snorkelling, and also carefully assess the conditions to determine the best place for your ocean adventure.
Price: $80 per person (minimum two participants)
Duration: 2-2.5 hours

Open Ocean
If you’re looking to explore further afield, you can join us on our boat the “Avanti”. We depart our wharf early in the morning and are usually out for roughly 3.5 – 4 hours. You’ll have the chance to explore our local dive sites (Latitude Rock being a particular favourite) under the watchful eye of our deckhand while
we are anchored or moored and the SCUBA Divers are down. Please note: this is NOT a guided snorkel. If you want a guide for the snorkel you will need to use the “Buddy Service” Option.
Price: $100 per person
Duration: 3.5 – 4 hours
Includes: Mask, snorkel, fins and short wetsuit. Tea, coffee and biscuits as well during a break onboard the boat.
Onboard TSMV "Avanti
Are you keen to head into deeper waters as a certified Freediver but
really need a buddy? Our PADI Freediver Instructor, Gabby, can buddy
up with you! Jump onboard the “Avanti” during one of the dive
charters. You’ll have the freedom to explore and dive to depths of up
to 30 metres (or whatever your maximum certified depth is). Freediving
surface float can be included if needed.
Price: $150 per person (minimum 1 participant)
Duration: 3.5 – 4 hours
Includes: Gabby. You will need your own freediving appropriate mask, fins, snorkel and exposure protection. Freediving surface float and lanyards are available for use on an as needed basis.
