Scuba Equipment Servicing

Brands Serviced

  • How long will it take?

Our service turnaround time is a maximum of 2 weeks as we do not keep service parts in stock. By booking your service in advance, we can greatly reduce this time to a maximum of 1 week by ordering the necessary parts ahead of time. If you have a specific deadline in mind, such as an upcoming holiday, please inform us when you drop off your item.

What is involved in servicing a regulator?

Whenever a regulator is serviced, it requires a full disassembly and reassembly. Certain components must be replaced in each stage of these maintenance processes. Every internal part is subjected to thorough inspection, along with an ultrasonic and o brush cleaning for specific components. Additionally, all o-rings are lubricated and replaced when needed. It's like conducting a surgical procedure!

My SCUBA gear hasn’t been used or serviced in a while… What happens next?

We get this more often than you’d think. The gear will need to be inspected and disassembled. We will let you know the general condition of the regulator and rough cost for bringing it back in to working order. Most of the time, if the gear has been correctly, safely stored your regulator and BCD will be fine and ready to go in a couple of days. If there’s corrosion (i.e. it wasn’t washed before it was put away) or you’ve had some insect friends eating things they shouldn’t have in the components, the regulator will be expensive to fix. In some cases, it may be beyond economical repair to get back to working order.
