Our cruises - how it works

Book your whale watch space

Book online using the booking tool above, email us, or call us.

Confirmation call

Call us the afternoon before your cruise to check weather forecast and sea conditions are suitable

Arrive at our dive centre

Meet at our dive centre at 8.45am for a 9am departure.

Say "G'day" to the Humpback Whales

And listen to our "Whale University" lecture from our experienced staff, who provide informative commentary, facts and (arguably) hilarious jokes throughout the cruise

Why choose us?

We have a custom built day charter boat, the "Avanti", with a fully covered rear deck, accessible bow and enclosed, dry cabin. Cruise with the Whales in safety and comfort, with experienced skippers and informative, fun commentary from our expert staff and super tasty home made treats for morning tea!

The "Avanti" is 10.6m long and surveyed for 20 passengers and 2 crew. We take a maximum of 16 passengers on our whale watches so everyone has plenty of room and is nice and comfortable. We also have a toilet onboard! Phew!

*Our Whale Watching cruises are very weather and seas dependant.

Weather checks are done the afternoon prior to cruise date.

Bookings are essential for our Whale Watching Cruises

Phoning 02 6554 7478 (after hours mobile 0409 466 958 or 0401 602 513) before 5pm on the day before your cruise is essential to ensure that the weather and sea conditions will be suitable for us to undertake the cruise.

Our vessel "TSMV Avanti" can carry 20 passengers, however for everyone's comfort we limit our whale watching cruises to 16 passengers.

Bookings are easily done online on this page, or by email or phone 02 6554 7478, dive@diveforster.com.au
